We’re just a group of regular people who love cycling and triathlon. We love talking and learning about, participating in, and being a part of these sports. We support triathletes and roadies alike. Yup, you heard it. Our goal is to create a place where we, as a community, can swap stories and tips, train together, and share a great lifestyle. We want to help make your experience at the shop, out on the road, in the water, running the trails, or at your race be great, whatever your goals!
Kyle Isaacs
Kyle’s background is in cycling and maintenance. You have likely never met anyone who gets more excited about bikes. As a kid, Kyle’s older brothers rolled up on a motorcycle, one of them holding a new BMX bike. Kyle rode his first bike after the pedals broke and there were only spindles; he has been riding ever since. Last year he competed in his first 70.3 distance triathlon at Wildflower in California.
Kyle is a licensed Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic (A&P). He has a knack for problem solving and fixing anything that flies, drives, or rolls. He has worked on bikes for a total of 10 solid years. He also has 6 years of maintenance experience on helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Kyle is a certified F.I.S.T. Fit Professional. He is trained on fitting a road or triathlon/TT bike to differing body dimensions, flexibility, injuries, and goals. He has been the owner of SBR Sports since 2009.

Erin Swensen
Erin has competed in multisport for 8 years and brings a lot of racing experience to the shop. Growing up, her neighbor raced Xterra and introduced Erin to triathlon. Erin's first race was a sprint that she trained for on her mom's beach cruiser. At first Erin was terrified to race... she got her pro card for Xterra last year. Some hope for all of us scared out of our minds at a race! Erin raced at the collegiate level for Lindsey Wilson College in Kentucky in mountain, road and cyclocross. She won NORBA Nationals, Expert category in 2006. In 2009, Erin won Xterra Nationals in her age group.

Joe Johnson
Joe comes to us from California and recently graduated from the Fire Recruit Academy at UVU. He has a a lot of maintenance experience, starting with dirt bikes when he was 10 years old. He worked on off-road trucks and buggies for 4 years, and has been working on bicycles over the course of the last 7 years. He is a member of the UVU Cycling Team and races cyclocross in the fall where he just took 3rd in Men’s Bs in the UTCX series. Last year was Joe’s first foray into the triathlon scene and (with the exception of a little over-training problem) for a roadie dabbling in triathlon he started out strong!

Andy Creer (a.k.a. DC)
Andy hangs out with us in the summer when he’s not teaching at UVU. He has an MS in Exercise Science and a PhD in Human Bioenergetics (yeah, we had to look that up too). He’s done a ton of research and published papers like “Neural, metabolic, and performance adaptations to four weeks of high intesnsity sprint-interval training in trained cyclists” and “Exercise in space…”. Super cool. Andy is a cyclist, a training and nutritional consultant for the UVU Track and Field Team, and advisor to the UVU Cycling Team. We are honored to have his expertise on training and nutrition at our disposal. His facebook profile sums it up for us; “I like to ride bicycles. A lot.”
